Project 2-Summarize.

For this project, I choose to do topic 2, which is:
Create and structure a photographic tour by combining geotagged photographs onFlickr with Google Earth/Maps. Consider narrative in the context of physical location7and the delivery medium. Ensure that all content used is licensed appropriately andattributed accordingly.

The reason I choose this topic is really simple, because I always love to work with pictures and as I mentioned in the blog post before, I use to love write stories, especially the story about myself. But I have no chance to do that.

Before I start doing this project, I had look at the website that shows us some really good stories.
It's "We Tell Stories" my basic idea was come from one of the way that they use to tll the story <The 21 Steps> they use google map as the tool of showing the process of the story. For me, it is much more easy to go on with step my step.
So I just try to use Google map to do that.
At the beginning of the project, I try to do what they have done with <The 21 Steps> but it's really hard for me to do things as good as they did, such as when you read the story, from one place to another, It will have a line go through the map and take you to the next place. I try to do that but could not even know how to make the line moving.
But later on, after I found out that I can't do that by simply use the tools that google map provide to us to use. I give up that part, just simply use the link and other easy way of showing my story.

During the processing of the project, I feel good, I really enjoy doing all these things, for example, choose the photos that I need to use. PS the cover picture of the story. and so on.
I was a reader when I did that, as well as author. I kind of enjoy recollected all the pieces from last year.
Really a good way to review and to make myself remember those things.

I am quite happy with the final piece of my work.
Hopefully other people who looked at this will like it as well.

This is a story I got inspiration from my own life experience.

Maybe my aim is not only telling people the love story I had with my boyfriend, but also to introduce my lovely hometown to more people. It is the place that grow me up, also let me met my lover.

Just as I said in the story, for me, there's nothing such as "end", "end" means the "new start".
So, even the story is ending, "His story and Her story" in the true life is continuing. Nothing can stop us from enjoy our life, and everything will be fine after the hard time.

project 2

I should of write this post few weeks ago when I decided what to do with this project, but I'm just been to busy with playing around and enjoy doing the project, so this post has been late for such a long time.

I use to love write stories, but my pool talent of writing told me that I'm not good at this, so I just gave up.
I fall in love with photos and editing photos. Especially the landscape of all the place I went, and people around me, and little stuff that I bought.
I always looked at those hundreds of photos in my computer, and thinking that one day I might tell people some story about those photos, it's may unnecessary to be real story, but it will be good to tell people my story in my eyes, in my mind, through my camera. That's my view of the world.

When I saw 3 of the topics of the project, I kind of confused once, but finally I decided to use the photos that I took in my hometown with my boyfriend when we first time met each other, and tell the story about them.
This story is base on my own true story with my boyfriend, but I changed it a little bit, to make it more like a "story".
I'm really enjoying doing this, it really gives me a good chance to make my dream come true.

It is nearly in the end of processing, hopefully, it will be good in the final piece=)

Another kind of image world

Due to the working with Flash, I got a lot of chance to touch with another type of image, it is called Vector graphics.

"Vector graphics is the use of geometrical primitives such as points, lines, curves, and shapes or polygon(s), which are all based upon mathematical equations, to represent images in computer graphics.
Vector graphics formats are complementary to raster graphics, which is the representation of images as an array of pixels, as it is typically used for the representation of photographic images.[1] There are instances when working with vector tools and formats is best practice, and instances when working with raster tools and formats is best practice. There are times when both formats come together. An understanding of the advantages and limitations of each technology and the relationship between them is most likely to result in efficient and effective use of tools."

The normal picture in the computer such as photo, they are made of pixels, they are like all little dots, to display the whole picture. Vector graphics is a kind of picture that safed a lot of quality, but used different geometry shape to make the picture work.

It is the kind of picture that used a lot in the animation work, and iconograph.

First one is a 3D animation work. It's about a little animal who can not fly, but try its best to make itself fly.
I was really moving when I saw it cried when its "flying". Thi storyboard of the animation is usually the most important part of a animation product. Well, we can not simply ignore the software skill, but, a good story will effect people a lot, when they watching the animation.
It is the same as you read a novel. Some times people do not want very beautiful depaint of the people or the cricumstances, they only want to see a good story, clear character personality and beautiful process of the story.
I like this work because it gives us reallly clear idea of how is the story going on, what is the main character doing, although it's really short, in the end of the story, we discovered why is the character doing those things for. Very simple but beautiful work.

This one is an example of the Flash work.
Due to the project of the Visual Narrative, we are doing some of the Flash working. I kind of interested in Flash animation product. It is an esay way of making animation products, but it is not as beautiful as other tools can do. It is much more easier to make also less cost when you make it.
This one is called Animator vs Animations. There are 2 and 3 as well, but personaily I feel 1 is the best one.
It's about the character that animator made fighting with the animator. These kind of fighting flash was popullar on the internet for quite a long time.
There is no storyline of this animation work, but the Flash skill is really good, the action of the character is very cool.



Beacuse of the development of the computer and internet, we can now watch a lot of excellent work online without cost any money.
A lot of people who can make beautiful animation work may not working in the animation company, internet and computer gives them the best stage to performing, to show themselves.
Really really love animation, hope one day I can be one of them who can make my own animation work^^...

Online Game

Due to the development of the internet, people's life are much more involved with the internet. Especially young people.

Internet is not only a media, wich people can get informantion from, but much more like a tool, that people can participate, and communicate to others.

Online game is a kind of game that a lot of people from everywhere in the world can play together, there are few different kind of Online games popular on the internet nowadays.

Some of them people will have their role in the game they can control their own role (usually is a person or an animal or whatever), either play with others or fight with others. These game we call them role play game. These games always need people to be online and spend time to do something inorder to level up the role.

Some of the games mainly for people to entertainment. Such as some of the music game, or some of the card game which you can play with other people on a dummy table, just like you play them with your friend on the table. Those games, do not ask people to spend long time to be online, you can play them whenever you like.

Online game is one of the important ennertainment for young people. Especially in China. Because of the one child policy, a lot of kids are really lonly at home, internet is a good way for them to get new friend from, they can choose their favorite game to play and get new friends who had the same interest as themselves.

World of Warcraft- This is a very famous Online game all around the world. Role play, very beautiful 3D menu. Most of the boys will know that I guess.

Perfect World international- Also a role play game, most of the player are Asian.

Audition online- A kind of music game start from Korea. Very famouse in most of the Asian countires. Korea use to have friendship online competion with China.
